Annual Show Highlights
Hear Ye, Hear Ye.

Members of the Society donn period costumes
for the event and a Tea Room is open throughout the show, selling soups, sandwiches,
homemade pies and other refreshments.

At the right South County Historical Society
members Barbara Vinson and Ethel Gilliland don Period Clothing for the Show.
The event has become renowned for its Gift Basket Prize Drawing. The Baskets, assembled by
Society Members, are filled with gifts donated by local businesses and Society Members.
Winners need not be present for the drawing and the tickets for the are available for a
donation of $1.00 each, or six for $5.00.
All proceeds of the show are used by
the Society for its ongoing preservation activities and upkeep of its museum properties.
The organization showcases six
buildings, the Heritage House Museum, the
Paulding History House, the Santa Manuela Schoolhouse, the "Barn", located immediately behind the
Schoolhouse, where many historical artifacts preserved by the Society can be found, the
IOOF Historic Hall and the Patricia Loomis Library and Reference Center in the historic,
